On the 18th of March we have got ‘Words on Wheels’ coming to visit the nursery. The children will be able to go onto the bus to look at the different books, games and materials; including touch and feel books for the very young, story tapes, pop up books and beautifully illustrated big books for group story sessions. They will learn the importance of books and words and will have a variety of stories read to them using a variety of methods, I.E. puppets, story sacks and props. It will be an opportunity to involve parents and show them what is on offer at their local library.
