Yojojo Comes to Crawley!
Busy Bees are delighted to announce that Crawley EYC nursery is the lucky winner of the Busy Bees Sport Relief 2012 competition. The nursery will be awarded with a very special visit from Yojojo, one of the characters from the popular CBeebies children’s show Waybuloo, after they held an outdoor Waybuloo party involving lots of creative sporting and learning activities inspired by each of the characters. They took part in lots of fun activities from music to dance, and sport to art, raising a total of £82 for Sports Relief 2012.
Little ones from Busy Bees Nurseries across the UK held Waybuloo parties to take part in their exclusive Sport Relief competition. Nurseries were encouraged to be creative with their fundraising, using their free Sport Relief Early Years Activity Kit to help get the party started!
Aleks Leimanis, Schools and Youth Manager at Comic Relief said, “We were really impressed by all the entries to the competition. Not only did the Waybuloo parties look fun and sporty, we were amazed by just how creatively the nurseries had used the Waybuloo theme and our learning activities. We want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff, parents and children involved. The money they have raised will help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.”
