Early Years Nutritional Training for Busy Bees Chef’s

Busy Bees offer our Nursery Chefs a six month training programme on 'Early Years Nutrition'. This training programme is exclusive to Busy Bees Chefs, having been developed by Busy Bees Catering Managers and the Busy Bees in-house training team.

The programme focuses on nutritional requirements for children aged up to five years old, with strong links to children's health and wellbeing. The course aims to sustain and develop the existing knowledge of our Nursery Chefs, addressing areas such as 'Food and Nutrition', 'Early Years Nutrition', 'Nutrition for the Under 5's', 'Menu Planning', 'Health and Wellbeing', and 'Promoting Healthy Eating'.

Nutritional training has always been important to Busy Bees, and for the last two years we have offered a certified CIEH Food & Nutrition Course to all Nursery Chefs and Managers.

Our Training and Catering teams have worked together to develop our Early Years Nutritional Course, and we are pleased to say that it has been accredited by the City and Guilds.
