About our Nursery
Our objective is to provide quality care for every child in a safe, secure and fun environment, meeting every child's individual needs. Our childcare approach, which includes building a close and trusting partnership with our parents, is vitally important to us.
The nursery is situated on Severalls Business Park and has close access to the A12, A14 and A120
Facilities....
At Busy Bees in Colchester you will find a purpose built, single storey nursery with fantastic facilities. Our facilities include:
- Large fully equipped Base Rooms designed specifically
for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
- Secure Access system for your peace of mind.
- Each room has their own Base Room Manager who plans and
co-ordinates the children’s activities throughout the day.
- Individual outdoor play areas with special garden areas for
the children to grow their own plants and vegetables.

At Colchester we offer swimming lessons. These are with a fully trained swimming instructor who teaches groups of no more than 8 children at a time.

We fully inform parents about every aspect of the nursery and the general operation and constraints. Our staff build positive and strong relationships with parents and ensure that each parent and child's needs are catered for.

OFSTED
Our Day nursery facilities are registered with the Department of Education and Employment DfES) to accept grants for Early Years education for children aged three and four and activities are geared to meet the requirements of Ofsted incorporating the Early Learning Goals.
Activities also take into consideration all aspects of the National Curriculum Key Stage One.
Children are given every opportunity to make their own choices with encouragement and help from staff and parents.
