About our Nursery

MINI Kids is a small, friendly purpose designed nursery located in Cowley, Oxford, which provides a secure, warm and welcoming environment. MINI Kids is a workplace nursery for BMW employees, with external places available for the general public, and is within easy reach of A34, M40 and Cowley ring road.

We have fantastic facilities and resources, providing a caring and enjoyable environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The children are offered an endless variety of activities, some of their favourites being aroma glitter dough, body painting, toddler yoga and baking. The children enjoy celebrating different festivals and cultures on special theme days. All age groups follow educational frameworks; Birth to Three Matters and Stepping Stones, and produce regular planning of activities, completing development records to ensure their goals are achieved.

At Mini Kids there is a superb outdoor play area, with a newly developed sensory garden, where children can enjoy planting and growing their own vegetables, whilst getting lots of fresh air and exercise.

The children are provided with delicious healthy and nutritious home cooked meals and snacks, freshly prepared on the nursery premises. Mini Kids has a great staff team who are loyal and committed, and are encouraged to take regular training. The staff strive to work alongside parents to provide the best possible care.

INTERNAL: Monday - Thursday: 7.15am - 5.45pm 
Friday: 7.15am - 1.30pm
EXTERNAL: Monday - Thursday: 7:15am - 5:45pm

Morning Session 7:15am to 1:30pm
Afternoon Session 1:30pm to 5.45pm
Friday 7:15am to 1:30pm

The nursery can be flexible according to parents needs.

OFSTED

Our Day nursery facilities are registered with the Department of Education and Employment DfES) to accept grants for Early Years education for children aged three and four and activities are geared to meet the requirements of Ofsted incorporating the Early Learning Goals.

Activities also take into consideration all aspects of the National Curriculum Key Stage One.

Children are given every opportunity to make their own choices with encouragement and help from staff and parents.
