About our Nursery
Lilliputs Nursery and Playscheme was opened in 2000 and stands in the grounds of the district Land Registry in Warton. Lilliputs is a purpose built setting with bright spacious rooms, in beautiful surroundings. As well as places for pre-school children within the nursery, we cater for children up to twelve years during the school holidays, within our Playscheme.
Lilliputs has extensive play areas for children to enjoy, including an adventure playground for the older children, and a separate, covered outdoor soft area for all children. In addition to these play areas we have full use of the Land Registry grounds, which holds a five-a-side football pitch, mini-golf course, and a duck pond. The children regularly participate in walks with the staff within the grounds to enjoy their surroundings.
Morning Session 7:30am to 12:45pm
Afternoon Session 1:00pm to 6:00pm

Activities Noticeboard
At Busy Bees, we value you as your child's prime educator and aim to become active partners with you in your child's continuing process of education.
As you know, young children are active and eager to learn and delight in discovering their world. Both the content of what children learn and the way in which learning takes place and is experienced by a child is important.
We emphasise first-hand experiences and view play and talk as powerful mediums through which children learn and develop. Our team of skilled and knowledgeable staff hold high expectations of all children. We build on your child's interest, abilities and earlier experiences by sensitive intervention and involvement.
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and relevant to all children. It is appropriate to their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development and incorporates all government guidelines.
As a team, we regularly monitor, review and evaluate our work in order to maintain and achieve high standards, By continually observing children, we are able to base our plans around their individual needs.
