About our Nursery
Busy Bees at Preston NHS is a new, purpose built nursery set in the grounds of the hospital. The nursery caters for children aged from 3 months to 5 years and is open to the NHS trust staff only. We provide flexible hours for shift workers, and early start times of 7am and 7.30am.
The nursery is set on one level, making a friendly, open environment for children, parents and staff. It has secure, enclosed outdoor play areas with soft surfaces, as well as extensive modern play equipment in all the rooms.
All of our meals and snacks are all freshly prepared on-site by our full time cook, and our friendly, experienced staff provide quality childcare, utilising the ‘Birth to Three Matters’ and foundation stages in all groups.
The pre-school groups regularly visit the local library, and all of our over 2’s groups enjoy fun, exciting physical activities with Playmakers.
There is off the road parking for parents and visitors, and £30.00 subsidy on fees for all NHS parents paid by the Trust. N.B: If the Government withdraws the funding of the subsidy, fees will increase £30 per week.
Additional Information:
Nappies will be provided and meals will be freshly prepared on the premises. Morning sessions will include lunches as standard.
