The nursery is a purpose built building ideally located just a two minute walk to the city centre. The nursery has age specifice rooms for the different age ranges, and two individual gardens for the children to play in.
Nichola has been qualified for 17 years and has a host of experiences within the nursery sector. Nichola has a BTEC qualification in Nursery Nursing as well as a HNC in Early Years; she has also worked as an NVQ assessor.
Nichola started at the nursery in 1994 as a nursery nurse and moved to Bristol when the company opened a nursery there – whilst there Nichola worked her way to becoming the nursery manager. Nichola then went to work in other fields in childcare which included assessing childcare students for the local college before coming back to the Cardiff nursery in 2005 as the nursery manager.
Nichola has two children. One daughter who is now in school and a son who currently attends the nursery so is aware of the importance of providing quality childcare for busy working parents and providing positive environments and experiences for the children attending the nursery.

The inspector spoke to 10 parents, they all showed appreciation of the standard of care provided by the staff, communication systems, and stated that their child enjoyed attending the setting
Staff interaction with children was good in all base rooms and the children appeared happy and well settled. Children spoken to by the inspector in pre-school group confirmed the activities they enjoyed undertaking and that they liked attending the nursery to meet their friends and they enjoyed the food provided!

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Eg, our Nursery Chef, has been working at the nursery for the past 18 months.
He has worked as a Chef for the past 16 years and has an NVQ level 1+2 in Catering and Hospitality, Intermediate Food Hygiene and EMFEC Vegetarian cooking from the Catering Board.
Eg has a wide knowledge of a variety of dietary requirements from the various work places that he has been based in previously.
