Here, at Busy Bees Carshalton Beeches, we can help your child to reach their potential during those important early years. 

Based in a spacious but welcoming building in a quiet, residential spot, our centre provides excellent quality childcare for babies, toddlers and preschool-age children. We know children develop at different paces, so we have separate rooms for each age group. It allows the children to learn, explore and have fun with others at a similar stage in their development journey. 

All of our Carshalton day nursery's childcare rooms are equipped with toys and learning activities to keep little ones happy and engaged. From cosy reading corners to role-play kitchens to motor sensory puzzles - there's something for every child. We're lucky enough to have an interactive whiteboard too, which provides fantastic learning opportunities. 

We know how important it is for kids to get outside, so the fun isn't just kept indoors. Our large outdoor space allows the children to learn about taking safe risks under adult supervision. And it also lets them enjoy exploration in the fresh air. 

When you enrol your child with us, they'll be assigned their own keyworker - who'll update you on any milestones your little one is reaching. Our staff follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, to ensure your child gets the preparation they need for the step up to primary school.

Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Carshalton Beeches

Getting children to eat nutritious foods can be a challenge - we understand that. Therefore, we've developed our NHS Startwell-accredited menus, featuring delicious favourites packed with lots of healthy ingredients. While your little one is with us, at our Carshalton nursery, they'll get to enjoy lots of exciting snacks, meals and drinks. 

The food we serve is freshly prepared on-site by a professional chef. And we change our menus on a seasonal basis, so there are always lots of opportunities for the children to try new things. All the food and drink served throughout your child's day is included in your nursery fees.  

Want to get a taste of what we serve on a typical day? 

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge. 

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods. Served with a cup of milk or water. 

Lunch

Cowboy pie or veggie cowboy pie with sweetcorn. With fruity flapjack or lemon shortbread for dessert. Served with a cup of water. 

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a cup of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack 

Mixed potato wedges with Indian roast tomato dip, with satsuma smiles. Served with a cup of water.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Carshalton are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

"We’ve had a child at Busy Bees for almost 6 years. Our older one left a couple of years ago but has good memories of his time there. Staff are great with the children, and management has been flexible and helpful through what I’m sure has not been an easy year for the nursery."
