Based on the Jaguar Land Rover site, our Busy Bees Discoveryland nursery in Solihull is the ideal childcare option for employees of JLR. Our exceptional nursery is based on the Jaguar Landrover Solihull site. We are a work based nursery for JLR employees only. 

We have created a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment that gives the children of employees at Jaguar Land Rover everything they need to grow, develop, and prepare for school - all within an exceptionally convenient reach of the workplace. . 

Our Discoveryland nursery is separated into five spacious rooms, each with free-flow access to outdoor areas for the children to explore. The nursery rooms are specifically tailored to the age of the children, ensuring the activities and resources are perfectly matched to their stage of development.  

The fun doesn’t stop at the doors of our nursery. There’s an additional outdoor classroom available for children attending to discover and explore, whatever the weather!

We offer a huge range of facilities and services to make parents’ lives easier such as funded childcare, meals and snacks, a handy buggy store, on-site car parking and much more.Within our Centre we have a chef who creates freshly prepared meals each day, adopting to any medical or allergy needs. We have a 5 star rating from environmental health and we achieved good in April 2018 for our last Ofsted inspection. We have 5 spacious base rooms which all have direct access to our outdoor areas. We have additional outside class room which is used in all weather conditions. In additional to our lovely base rooms, we have created a sensory room, to help children settle and enjoy a sensory experience whilst at nursery.

Sensory Room
Our Sensory Room is a relaxing space providing a unique sensory experience with activities and equipment to explore, engaging and stimulating children’s senses.

Parent Room
Our parent room is a dedicated safe space for us to get to know your family and you to speak in confidence with our nursery team about your child's nursery life.

Smart Board
Our Interactive Smart Board is used daily to bring learning to life and provides children with a hands-on approach with technology.

Funded Childcare
We offer government funded places for children aged 3 to 4 years, please speak to the Centre Director for more information.

Teacher
We have a fully qualified Teacher in our pre-school room who delivers exciting learning opportunities, whilst ensuring statutory and legal welfare requirements are met for every child.

Foundation Class
The foundation class nurtures each child's natural curiosity within a structured framework providing pre-school children with an early introduction to school life.

ParentZone
We keep families informed through ParentZone, an online learning journal platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone app.

UP
Exclusive to Busy Bees, UP is a learning and development app used by educators in our nursery and parents at home. Search ‘UP by Busy Bees’ on the app store to find out more.

Book Extra Sessions Online
We offer online booking for extra ad-hoc sessions at this nursery with Pebble.

Food at Busy Bees at Discoveryland

We know how tricky it can be to get little ones eating the right things to ensure healthy growth and development. We have clever on-site chefs who prepare food for the children at our Discoveryland nursery each day, meaning little tummies are always full!  

All meals, drinks and snacks are included within the fees you pay prepared on site by our nursery chef. 

If your child has any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please get in touch with the Centre Director who would be happy to discuss other safe and tasty alternatives.  

Get a taste of what your child could be enjoying at mealtimes while with us for the day:  

Breakfast

Fresh fruit with a selection of cereal or porridge.  

Morning Snack

Fresh fruit with wholemeal toast or baked goods with a drink of milk or water. 

Lunch

Corn on the cob followed by jambalaya (meat or vegetable) with a drink of water.  

Afternoon Snack

Fresh fruit or vegetable sticks served with a drink of milk or water. 

Early Evening Snack

Spring vegetable soup followed by apple and pineapple, with a drink of water.

Our Fees

We believe in an open and transparent approach to nursery fees. Click the button below for weekly, daily, and session rates for our exceptional childcare.

Did you know Busy Bees also offers government-funded childcare? If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your child's age, each year for your child. Find out more on our 'Funding Options' page. Preparing for School

In order to best prepare the children for the next big chapter of their lives, Busy Bees do all that they can to support and celebrate the transition. All of the planned activities and experiences which take place within our Busy Bees Nursery in Solihull are designed to provide a foundation of skills that will help them grow in becoming confident and capable learners.

As the dedicated childcare provider for employees at JLR, you’ll find our centre on the Jaguar Land Rover Solihull site.   

We have on-site car parking to allow for safe and convenient collection and drop off at the nursery, as well as a buggy store for those arriving on foot or via public transport.  

To ensure the safety of your children, as well as colleagues and visitors at Busy Bees Discoveryland, we have secure access to the building too.
