Leapfrog Day Nursery in The City is located very central to the Banking sector of The City and is a short walk from Liverpool Street Station.
The nursery is supported by the Learning Trust and have regular meetings with a support teacher.
Karen Pogonowski is the Nursery Manager.
Karen has worked with children since 1980 and for Busy Bees for the last 7 years. She started at the Chingford Nursery as Base Room Manager for the under 2's, she then progressed to running the very busy pre-school room. She was then promoted to Deputy Manager and was also acting Manager during the Manager's maternity leave.
Karen then moved to take up a position at the Finchley nursery as Joint Manager and since the begining of September has been the Manager at London City.
Karen works closely with Karlita Cooper who is the Deputy Manager and has been at the City Nursery for 2 years, she is currently studying for a Level 4 qualification.
The right nursery setting can make a big difference to a child, that's why Leapfrog in The City is purposely designed with children in mind. Our play areas are bright welcoming and fun with areas for messy activities, active play, sleeping and quiet times.

To ensure we are providing well balanced, nutritious meals to our children, the Busy Bees catering team worked alongside Michelin-starred chef, Phil Vickery, and a child nutritionist to create a brand new range of delicious recipes to use, as part of the nurseries' day to day menus.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Our cook is Victoria Olubunmi Aguda. She has worked for Busy Bees for 7 years and prior to that was a school cook.
