Dylan's key person has been a great support during his nursery time, we could see how dedicated she is to all the children in her care, she always goes the extra mile
So much thought and planning for the children's interests and enjoyment have been taken into account. The Foundation Class Room is simply AMAZING!
We have been extremely happy with the care Eleanor has received, I am upset that circumstances dictate that I have to move her away. I cannot praise the staff highly enough they have been fantastic
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that have looked after Molly, those who have trained to look after her health and medical needs - thank you for all your support
The introduction of uniform in the Foundation Class is great idea as preparation for the eventual transition into primary school from EVERY aspect.
Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian is a purpose built, single storey building situated on a Meridian Leisure Park. It is very close to Thorpe Astley Housing Estate and Meridian Business Park and is ideally located for the M1 corridor.
We have a long serving, passionate and dedicated staff team, who provide fun, safe childcare to each and every child who attends our nursery.
We continue to invest in our staff team, providing training opportunities for all of our early year educators and also catering staff. We have 26 staff qualified at level 3 with 1 working towards their level 3 and a new early years apprentice studying her NVQ level 2 with Busy Bees
We believe in treating all children as individuals and letting them have their own voice – so they can express themselves, self-select independently and follow their own learning journey while at Leicester Meridian.
Each day our nursery provides fresh home cooked meals and snacks. We cater for children with dietary requirements due to religion, allergy related or vegetarian. We continue to hold the maximum 5 star certificate rating for food hygiene issued by environmental health in December 2014. Recently we acquired our silver award from the Soil association.
New to our nursery is a Parent partnership group, we aim to meet three to four times a year. The idea of the group is to continue our excellent partnership with parents and carers, which was recognised by Ofsted, who rated us at outstanding within this area. Our members of the parent partnership are available by email to provide support to new parents or answer any questions parents may have when they first join our nursery.
In October 2013 we were rated "outstanding" in our Ofsted Inspection in all areas. here are a few snippets of what the inspector said -
"Staff recognise the uniqueness of each child and are sensitive to their needs as they settle into nursery" and " Children develop independence to make active choice and extend their own play initiatives" - go and have a read of our excellent inspection report, we're very proud.
Please come and have a visit of our lovely nursery, the team look forward to meeting you and showing you all the wonderful things we do.
