Why choose Busy Bees in Sale: -

Busy Bees in Sale is a 66 place converted single storey Victorian building situated in a residential area. The nursery is easily accessible by both motorway and public transport, situated just off Junction 7 of the M60 and a short walking distance from Dane Road metrolink station.

The nursery has four base rooms consisting of Babies, Pre-Toddlers, Toddlers and Pre-School. Each base room has access to a garden area which is used for continuous provision, with a newly developed garden area to back of the nursery. Toddler room have access to their very own vegetable plot, where they have successfully grown carrots and potatoes! We are currently looking to develop this for pre-school also by working alongside the local allotments.

I have worked in the childcare industry since qualifying with a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies, in the Summer of 2001. For the last 8 years I have worked for Busy Bees, firstly at Salford University as a Nursery Nurse before progressing to the role of Deputy Manager.

In September 2008 I was promoted to the role of Nursery Manager at Sale. In November of the same year I graduated with a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies after 2 years of hard work at Bolton University.

During my time with Busy Bees I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience with children of all ages. I have also attended a number of training courses including Safeguarding Children, British Safety Council Level 1 in Health & Safety, Early Years Foundation Stage and Special Educational Needs.
