why choose Busy Bees

Day Nurseries

Our childcare centres provide the complete childcare service for children up to five years old but are surprisingly flexible in the service they provide.

Parents can choose from full or half-day sessions. Opening times vary from facility to facility but cater for most parents dropping-off and collection needs.

Whilst the majority of parents require the same sessional care throughout, we can occasionally accommodate parents needs for temporary care, for example if the usual carer is unavailable or has other short-term commitments such as medical appointments or even holidays. In a growing number of our nurseries, we have developed a full system for providing Emergency Care.

Our Nurseries provide a comprehensive fun-packed day for children.

Facilities are organised by age group so that rooms, equipment, activities, food, rest and supervision are geared to their individual needs.

Security is our priority and the premises, procedures and policies are all designed to ensure peace of mind for parents.

We do not dictate that the same programme of activities or menus are provided in every Busy Bees facility - we strongly believe that facilities must reflect local needs and the individual expectations of local families.

We do ensure that Busy Bees philosophy, aims, policies and quality standards are met everywhere.

Out of School Clubs

Our Out of School Clubs cater for school age children, at the most critical times - during summer holidays, and after school.

For your children the range of activities and meeting new friends ensures that children look forward to holidays knowing that they will have a great time.

Every scheme is imaginative and novel and includes new and exciting activities to occupy, develop and entertain lively young minds. For example art and craft, kitchens for cooking activities, sports activities, pottery, t-shirt designing, jewellery making, football skills, games and quizzes, theatre studies, photography, team games, outside play and a quiet room for reading and work.

Times and activities may vary between facilities, so please visit the individual site page for more information.

Crèches

Crèches provide short-term care for an hour or two, to allow parents to concentrate on the activity at hand - in most cases shopping!

Parents can be safe in the knowledge that their children are being well looked after with plenty to do.

Please view our nurseries page to find your nearest crèche.
