On the 11th July, we held a fitting celebration to round off the program that we have come to know as our 'Preschool Project'. This project offers a range of enhanced activities focused on supporting the Preschool children with their transition to Primary School. It includes teaching and learning activities, but also personal and social skill activities that will ensure the children know both what to expect when they start school and to feel confident to give it their best.
The party started with Disco Joe and his Magic Show, who provided wonderful entertainment for the transitioning children. They absolutely loved his tricks and jokes and couldn't wait to share their experiences. The children also enjoyed showing us their best dance moves along to some of their favourite pop songs!
At 4pm, after a break for a party tea, parents and carers were welcomed along to see their little ones collect their Graduation Certificate. This is a very proud (but sometimes emotional!) moment for both the children, their families and for all who have cared for the children during their time at Busy Bees.
This year’s group have continually astonished us with their high level and range of skills, learning and understanding and overall progress and we are immensely proud to hand them over to our local Primary Schools as official ex-Bees !
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped shape their little minds and make them the wonderful and definitely ‘school ready’ characterful beings that they are. Parents, we hope you are as proud of them as we are and we will miss you too ! Special thanks and mentions go to the 2018 Preschool Team: Emily, Lucy, Chloe, Kimberley, Lorraine, Tuhina and Michelle. You are all wonderful and I know the children will miss you greatly.
Congratulations to the Class of 2018!
