Today we have been very busy in our Harlow nursery celebrating ourselves as individuals and looking at the children's likes and dislikes, exploring our families and looking at similarities and differences.
We have had lots of different activities throughout the nursery, celebrating our 'All about me' day.
Our 0-2 years have enjoyed creating some self portraits with different materials, and getting very messy in the process! They have also been celebrating the different languages within their rooms through stories and songs.
In Harlow's toddler room the 2-3 year olds have been looking through their family books and taking about their families in group activities, as well as playing with the small world houses and people to role play their experiences. They have also been painting self portraits looking in mirrors to create their master pieces.
In our pre-school rooms the 3-5 year olds have been looking at all about me profiles, they have been talking about their likes and dislikes, and using their chatterboxes to talk about their family and experiences they have had. They have also been creating self portraits using symmetry, looking at one half of their faces and seeing if they can copy the different features.
Why not book your visit today to come along to our Enrolment Week, 22nd – 26th January, I would love to show you our lovely nursery and introduce you to the staff team ~ Louise Christie Nursery Manager
