One of the pre-school children came into the nursery excited to tell staff all about birds of prey. During group time the child taught their friends all about these beautiful birds and how they catch their food in their sharp claws!
Following on from this the children decided they would like to paint pictures of the birds, staff provided photograph's so that the children could see what they look like in the wild then children used a variety of tools to paint their own representation.
As you can see they did an amazing job!
