The children learnt and celebrated Burn’s night throughout the day on Thursday 25th January. The children will had the opportunity to listen to Poems written by Robert Burn’s, make their own Scottish placements, potato printing, danced to traditional music and listened to the sounds of bagpipes. We changed the menu on this day for the children to enjoy traditional Scottish food. We served meatloaf, neeps and tatties for lunch followed by fruit trifle for dessert. We also served cock-a-leekie soup for tea followed by homemade shortbread biscuits.
