Busy Bees Goes Wild Scrapbook Winner!

Busy Bees Goes Wild Scrapbook Winner!
In 2015 we partnered with The Wildlife Trusts to offer the children in our nurseries a unique initiative, Busy Bees Goes Wild, to promote the great outdoors. We introduced seasonal scrapbooks to all of our nurseries, which included a variety of wildlife themed activities that children could complete at home and at nursery.
Each season there has been three winners, who have been entered into a national prize draw for the chance to be the final winner of the Busy Bees Goes Wild scrapbooks. We have had an amazing response over the year and all of the children have done fantastic, we have been overwhelmed by the entries.

Our 12 finalists are:

Autumn - Evie Roebuck, Charlotte Tong and Jack Vardy-Lievesley

Summer - James Manning, Maria Abraham and Pippa Robinson

Spring - Bram Quigley-Slater, Louis Fullone and Anabelle Leach

Winter - Oswin Bees, Harry McDougall and Madison O'Mara

We are delighted to announce that Evie Roebuck is the overall winner for her Busy Bees Goes Wild scrapbooks! It was obvious from Evie's entry that she and her family had lots of fun taking part in the activities featured in the seasonal scrapbooks and we were amazed by how detailed and creative they were. In recognition of her efforts Evie has been awarded with the title 'Champion of Champions' and her family will join her to enjoy her prize - a break in Centre Parcs!

Chrissie, Nursery Manager at Huntingdon said:

"When Evie was told she has won she went round telling everyone that she was the Big Winner! Evie's parents are over the moon and once they are over their initial excitement they will look forward to their family break and have even volunteered to take the 'Huntingdon Nursery Pre-School Bunny' along to help capture a record of their Centre Parcs experience"

Our thanks go out to all of the finalists, children and their families who took part in completing each of the seasonal scrapbooks, all were completed to a fantastic standard.  Busy Bees Goes Wild Champion's t-shirts and caps will be given to the children who have completed all four of the 2015 seasonal scrapbooks.

We look forward to continuing this initiative with the launch of our Spring/Summer scrapbooks at the end of February!
