Forget Notting Hill!!!
Tuesday 29th August saw the BUSY BEES HARLOW CARNIVAL DAY
Whistle blowing, music loud, and lots and lots of dancing was what the children in the Harlow nursery enjoyed today.
The children also be made different mask and showed their dance moves off.
We also enjoyed the wake and shake,
The dance movements included in the routine have been specially developed by early years experts at Busy Bees, to ensure that each child gains the most out of 'Wake and Shake'’ The activity also invites children to laugh and relax, encouraging them to explore their environment and, as a result, improve their confidence.
Busy Bees have developed an exciting 5 minute daily dance activity for children aged 2 – 5 years. All you need to take part is a CD player and bags of enthusiasm!
'Wake and Shake' engages children as they discover a series of easy to learn dance movements carried out to lively music with their peers, written and recorded especially for Busy Bees. Extensive research has shown that our brain works best when supplied with oxygen and endorphins, both of which are produced through exercise. After the 'Wake and Shake' session, children will feel re-energised and ready to learn, adopting a positive approach to the day.
Busy Bees believes that approaching physical activity as a lively and fun exercise will encourage children to view it as a positive pastime that they will continue to pursue later in life.
