The children were treated to an exciting opportunity to take part in celebration activities with one of the nurseries Canadian pre school parents. Chelsea and the team helped set up for the day to celebrate 150 years of since being independent. The children learnt all about Canadian traditions and what its like in Canada. They made cup cakes and decorated them in red and white colours. The parent had written to the Canadian embassy who kindly sent lots of goodies for the children to take home with them, which they were very excited about. The day went really quickly and the children really enjoyed having one of the parents attend for the day, so Chelsea the Senior room manager will be looking at different ideas to ask more parents to get involved in keep developing parent partnerships.
