The children celebrated the Muslim festival Eid-Al-Adha throughout the day on Friday 1st September. The children were read stories and learnt about the importance of the pilgrimage, animal sacrifices, Saudi Arabia and the Kaaba. We also changed the menu for the children to enjoy traditional Indian food. The children enjoyed Chicken or Vegetable Biryani for their lunch and pineapple cake for dessert. At teatime they enjoyed various Indian finger foods and bombay potatoes followed by mango slices and ice cream for dessert.
