Day Four of Enrolment Week has seen a theme of Traditional Tales here at Busy Bees Bury St Edmunds.  We have been celebrating our favourite tales across all age ranges with activities including role-play, sharing stories and interactive stories.

Our younger children and babies have enjoyed looking at the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' with their Key Person.  The story book had lots of sound buttons for the children to press and listen to, adding to the excitement of the story.

Today, our Pre-School Children have been taking part in Interactive Stories on their very special Smart Board.  They listened to and watched the stories of 'The Gingerbread Man' and 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'.  They were then able to reflect back on the story and complete some fun activities using the Smart Board.

Emilia and Louie have been telling me about a favourite story of theirs called 'Cinderella'.  They both dressed up as the Princess and Prince and interacted with each other in the role-play area.  Louie (aged 3) said "I am the Prince.  I cook lunch for my Princess" as he handed her a bowl or role-play food.  Very Sweet.

Enrolment Week is not over yet!! Join us tomorrow for a fun filled day of Story Sacks.  The staff in each room have been working hard to create exciting story sacks to share with the children.  If you wish to book a visit, please do not hesitate to contact us.
