Here at Busy Bees Bury St Edmunds, we have been celebrating Chinese New Year in style. Our Pre-School Children have been talking about this event and how people living in China celebrate this with their families. The children have had a very creative morning making their very own Chinese Lanterns, using a variety of craft materials. A very yummy Chinese themed lunch was provided by Liz and Jan in the kitchen consisting of 'Sweet and Sour Chicken and Noodles'. The children enjoyed winding the noodles around their forks and even tried to use some chop sticks too. Here are some of the comments from our Pre-School Children:
Edmund (aged 3): "It's Chinese Noodle Day"
Louie (aged 3): "China Party Day"
Bethany (aged 4): "My Mummy and Daddy eat Chinese at home."
George (aged 3): "These are chop sticks".
