Tweenies had great fun making their chocolate apples.
Children wash their hands, they choose red or green apple, prepared their area,
looked at hard chocolate, touched, and smelt it ,then went on to melt the chocolate,
children then chose lollypop stick, pushed into apple, dipped it into chocolate, then into various colours of sprinkles, children showed good interest in procedure,good control in their fine motor skills and hand/eye co-ordination, also fantastic interaction with each other and staff , lots of language was used, hard, soft , warm , cold etc
They were very pleased with their end product and showed great pride when parents arrived , telling them all about their cooking activity .
