Christmas Party 2016

Here at Lewisham nursery we celebrated the festive season of Christmas today with a  fun party for babies, toddlers and pre school children in their base rooms. Children enjoyed music, dance and party games followed by a delicious Christmas tea of sandwiches, crisps, fruit, cucumber and carrot sticks and cupcakes made by chef Paula.

Children developed confidence and social skills from the Prime area of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, gross motor skills and spacial awareness relating to the Prime Physical development area andand responded to music to cover the Specific area of Expressive Arts and Design from the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Children were encouraged to wear a Christmas jumper or Christmas colours- red and green, to help raise money for this years chosen charity,Winston's Wish. Danielle, Deniz and Angela joined in with their Christmas jumpers too!

We suggested a donation of £1 towards this amazing charity for bereaved children and raised another £19!

So far we have raised over £150 and would like to thank you for your continued generosity.

We will be asking the Parent Partnership Group to feedback and support us making next year's event even better!
