The Pre-School children had a very busy and very exciting day celebrating Diwali. The day started with a special visit from the BBC Radio Suffolk Breakfast Show. The children spoke live on air about their experiences of Diwali and all the activities that they would be participating in.
The children enjoyed an interactive talk about Diwali from Lila Patel from the East of England Faith Agency. The children looked at some traditional artefacts and enjoyed dressing up in Indian clothing.
Head Chef Thomas made samosas with the children in our weekly cooking class, in preparation for a festival tea.
In the afternoon the children made Rangoli patterns with coloured sand and Diva lamps using clay which were beautiflly decorated with paint and glitter.
