We had a weeks long programme of activities planned with 5 fun filled days and we invited children everywhere to come along and express their creativity. All activities were suitable for babies up to Pre school age and provided a fantastic opportunities for dance, music, arts and crafts, role play science and even a little magic!! If you booked a place with us during this week you received one weeks free childcare. (T&C's applied)
Each day we offered a different opportunity for children to express their creativity through a range of carefully planned activities, each taking place at 10am and 2.30pm throughout the week.
Musical Monday was about expressing your creativity through music and dance. Dancing away to music from around the world and trying out various instruments and even make one yourself to take home.
Talent Tuesday provided an opportunity for children to put on their aprons, grab a paintbrush and got creative with paint. Children expressed their creativity through life size paintings using a variety of different paints and materials. A giant mural was created which include a little piece of everyone's creativity.
Wizardly Wednesday was about expressing creativity through science. Prospective parents were able to come along and experience the pop, fizz, whizz, bang and kaboom of spellbinding potions and spells. All wizards were welcome to come along and take part - wizard hats and cloaks were optional.
Thinking Thursday was a great day for expressing creativity through imagination. The children were able to explore the world of stories and poetry as well as the magical world of fantasy. Children came along to see if they could find a unicorn, dig up a dinosaur bone or take part in a dragon quest.
Fruity Friday was about fruit and heathy living. Children expressed their creativity through food as they made delicious healthy fruit smoothies, tasted some exotic fruits and then choose from a fruit salad or kebab to make and take home. They also were able to take part in fruit and vegetable printing to create their very own place mats.
