To celebrate Spring the children were treated to a surprise visit from Greenlands farm and some of their furry friends!
The children got a hands on experience, they were able to feed a lamb, handle mice, play with a ferret, meet Billy the Owl and more.
Children are more likely to develop skills when they are having fun with a hand on experience, activities like this are vital to each child's individual learning and development. This activity supported all seven areas of learning, talking about what they could see, asking questions and learning to care for animals are all important skills.
Thank you Greenlands for coming to visit us!
