This morning we prepared some different fruits, some unusual, some we eat often. We blind folded the children, gave them a randomly selected piece of fruit and asked them to guess what fruit they had in their mouths. One child had banana but guessed it was onion!! Another child guessing that pear was pepper. The children laughed at each others guesses and gave them clues when they weren't too sure. We spoke about what fruit and vegetables do for our bodies and why we eat them as well as going on to talk about where all these different fruit and vegetables come from.
