To celebrate the Rio Olympics 2016, the children and staff at Guiseley have had a little competition between themselves to design and make an entry for the Olympic themed scarecrow village.
With great team work and contributions the reception area of nursery looks very sporty and we are proud to display the works of everyone here. A couple of our pre-school children even made the Olympic rings on our digital table to go on our events board.
We have even extended the competition to our parents and challenged them to create their own themed scarecrow at home and bring it into nursery to join the other entries at the Olympic Village!
Poppy has brought in her Frozen themed rhythmic gymnast scarecrow, Emmy brought in her running scarecrow jumping over hurdles, Zachary brought in his Usain Bolt scarecrow, Emma brought in her Mo Farrah scarecrow and Elsie-Rose brought in her swimming scarecrow. Well done to all who took part for their fantastic entries!
The competition winners will be announced soon, watch this space!
