Today we held our annual Harvest Festival at Noah's Ark. All the children and staff dressed up as farmers in checked shirts, with hats and jeans and we spend the day taking part in harvest activities. In the morning the children practised chopping vegetables to make soup and made bread rolls with our chef and assistant. All the rooms had parents join them to play for the afternoon and got messy doing vegetable painting. We had scarecrows and pumpkins on our front porch, with a table full of vegetables for the children to explore by touching and smelling and naming what they are! The exciting day ended with everyone eating their homemade soup and bread at teatime, which was delicious!
