Its the time of the year when emotions are running high (largely for the staff and parents!) as the children get ready to leave nursery as the term draws to a close in preparation for starting School in September.
Having developed lovely relationships (some which span over 2-4years) with children and their families, there's bound to be tears shed as we say goodbye.
As a nursery team, it's always wonderful to watch and see how much the children have developed and achieved in their time with us and we wish them good luck as they start the next chapter on their little journeys.
We have already been inundated with cards and gifts from children and their families showing their appreciation to us for everything we have done for their children. These have been gratefully received, and the love is very much felt.
We are fortunate to have some younger siblings of our school leavers joining us later in the year, so for some it's not goodbye. We look forward to welcoming them into the nursery, but also to the little visits that we often have as the children come in to show us how grown up they look in their new school uniform!
Congratulations and best wishes to the graduating class of 2016 from the 'Hive' at Guiseley and to those children that are sadly leaving us to attend local pre-schools!
