Our pre-school at Harlow nursery have been enjoying lots of messy activities! We have been exploring different ways of making marks and using different materials to create them. We used balls and paint to create different marks, and explored different sponges and brushes for patterns. During these activities we were also learning about different colours, and how to create colour changes using simple colours!

"The paint feels cold and smooth! I can roll them really far!" - Scarlett 3 years 8 months

"This was an activity with a difference! The children got to explore different objects and ways of mark making. It was nice to see the children exploring and having fun, while also learning about colours and textures! " - Lauren Ringe QEYE
