The children in the older rooms took part in circle time with their friends, where they discussed why they love their mummy so much and what their mummy does for them.we had some lovely things said about their mummies, one little boy in pre-school said "I love my mummy one hundred and seven and she is beautiful".
They also had the opportunity to share stories about their mummy's.
The children had a special tea party with their mums and it was great to see so many mummies coming along, to enjoy a party tea and cakes.
All the rooms made something for their mummies to take home such as cards, some using hand prints and drawings of them and their mums. decorated clay hearts and candle holders, certificates to hand to their mums for being the best mums in the world, sun flower plants to take home and place in their garden and watch them grow.
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!
