They helped in decorating and planting in their respective gardens, getting them ready for the spring.
They enjoyed turning over the soil, setting the bedding plants in their baskets and pots and giving them a good watering.
Many children decorated paper plates with scrunched up tissue paper to create flower petals.
The children were also set the task of planting their very own sunflower seed, which they could then take home to grow. We have asked the parents to send in some photos of these fabulous sunflowers as they grow.
