News Update January/ February 2018
2018 has arrived and we would all like to wish you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2018. I would like to personally thank you all for your gifts that you gave to the staff, nursery and myself for Christmas 2017.
During 2017 the Busy Bees Charity was Meningitis NOW with your help we raised £612.11. We look forward to finding out the full donation from Busy Bees and will keep you posted. As of yet we are not aware of the 2018 charity.
Over the year we supported many charities including Breast Cancer Awareness, Jeans for Genes, Peppa Pig Muddle Puddle Walk, Save the Children, Cracker Jack Charity, BBC Children in Need and many, many more. Well done and thank you to all that supported these events.
During 2018 we will again be raising money for deserving charities.
The first being Hinchingbrooke Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) this is on personal level which I am sure is echoed by some of you. As many of you know my youngest grandchild Henry was born there in May 2017, 10 weeks early and weighing just 2lb 5oz. He spent 11 weeks in SCBU. We as a family will always be grateful for the care he and his Mum (my daughter) were given. As a nursery I would like to raise funds to provide toys and equipment for the babies use while in the unit. It would be nice to raise around £400. We have started the fundraising with the Chameleons Christmas Concert and sale of reindeer food which totals £108.14. The first event will be the VALENTINES draw on 14th February more information can be found later on in this news update.

Has your child got wellies and a winter coat?............
Laura from Chameleons would like to remind everybody about her flower which stands outside her door, it is there to allow the children's group times to be undisturbed. Many of you are aware of this and wait outside the room until they move it from the door. She would like to remind other people that the flower is there to allow undisturbed learning times for the children in Chameleons.
IF YOU SEE IT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR PLEASE WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL IT IS REMOVED. Thank you from Laura and the undisturbed children.
Frogs Parents please beware this practice will soon be taking place in your childrens room.
We would like to thank the PPG ladies for their support over 2017 and providing the children with the additional christmas present (book). The group needs NEW MEMBERS if you would like to know more pop into the office and ask. It’s your nursery have your say.
