What we have been getting up this week
In the baby room this week we have enjoyed making sun catchers and watching the colours appear on the wall when the sun shines through. We have also been painting Easter shapes making eggs and bunny pictures doing our educational program of babbling babies, copying sounds while singing old McDonald the babies liked making the animal noises. additionally exploring the garden running over the bridge.
In the toddler room this week we have been looking at our shapes, creating different shapes using various objects as well a using our bodies, as well as been working on our climbing skills outside in the garden, looking at what we can climb on, also how we can climb safely.
in the preschool room this week we have been looking at numbers, working on identifying them as their form, while additionally using different object to follow sequences in a pattern using colours and numbers. We have also been creating hats this week with different animals and weather types on them, working on our drawing skills by following patterns and shapes.
Thursday 1st March- World book day and book swap
(Please bring a book to swap, please ensure that it is age related and in good condition.)
Please come dressed as your favourite book character.
Just a gentle reminder, please take care when driving to and from the nursery due to the safety of the children and respect of the local community. The speed limit outside the nursery is a maximum of 10mph.
