Every day we are welcoming new families into the nursery and with the 3 year funding increasing to 30 hours for working parents from September we are making some changes to the nursery.
From September we will be closing our school club. We have had to make this difficult decision as the room is needed for nursery aged children. We will continue to collect our current children who will then join pre-school after school. We will no longer be running holiday club.
Therefore the school room will be changes into another baby room. There will be 3 baby rooms moving forward and the age of these rooms will be 0-18month.
The 3 toddler's rooms will continue from 18months - 2 years.
Tweenies will be for children aged 2-3 years.
Rising 3's will be 3 years until they are ready for pre-school this will be around the summer after there 3rd birthday to ensure that our children in pre-school spend a year in the room to prepare for school.
Both Rising 3's room and pre-school have the same routine with many adult focused activities through out the day along side child lead play.
I have attached pictures of each room team's from July also as Donna our pre-school room manager is going on maternity leave, Caitlin has asked to take on this role and gain some experience working in pre-school which offered an opportunity for promotion for the role of room manager in Tweenies. I am really please to say that Carmelia has successfully passed the interview process and is excited to be moving to the Tweenies team. We have therefore recruited a new nursery nurse in Rising 3's. Her name is Hayley and she is joining us from the 10th July.
