On Saturday 13th August, Thetford Busy Bees held their annual summer fete in aid of the charity for 2016, Winston's Wish.
The sun shone, the bbq cooking and the ice-cream chilling was a great start to the fete which saw over 50 families enjoying the range of activities that the nursery had on offer.
Parents and children got involved and created some great memories to take home from pebble painting to designing their own sand bottles. The staff team organised a range of stalls including a tombola, pot painting, cake stall and even guess the staff member from a baby photo.
The children soon wore themselves out on the bouncy castle and soft play area, which was new to the fete this year and the giggles were heard around the garden brought the sun out through the afternoon.
A raffle was held for a minion cake, courtesy of a parent which was won by Caroline whose children have been attending the nursery for over 3 years. We hope you enjoy it........
The nursery also unveiled a memorial in celebration of Tanya Green. Tanya was the nursery chef who had worked at the nursery for nearly 2 decades. The kitchen garden was made with the staff team and children at the nursery and sits proudly in the nursery forecourt.
