We are always busy painting at nursery and its fun to try new ways of mark making. We thought we would share some photos of the creative ways we have been involved in colourful paint!

Pre-school really enjoyed experimenting with the cars in the garden. This has followed an interest in this age group of cars and vehicle play. It was fun to extend this and use large paper in the garden to experiment with colours.

Pre-school also tried a new experience and painted with their feet and toes! This helped them to learn a new skill whilst thinking about control. The children really liked to discuss the marks that they had made with their feet!

Babies also experimented with paint and used lots of different tools to make marks. The children used mashers, stirrers and whisks which helped them gain control and new skills as they made marks on the paper.
