On Friday 20th October in aid of Breast Cancer we all showed our support and awareness by both staff and children coming into nursery dressed in pink and making a small donation towards such a worthy cause. It was a lovely day throughout the nursery where the children also got to enjoy some pink themed activities as well. Some of those activities included, pink painting, pink pigs in muddy fields for small world area, pink and glitter sticking as well as some slimey pink coloured goop in the garden messy trays.
The nursery deputy manager Palua also organised a pink day raffle where all proceeds went toward our fund raising total. Lots of staff and parents participated and commented on what a good idea it was.
All donations on the day were placed in our pink box located in the nursery communal area and together we managed to fund raise £37.30.
Thank you all to who participated and showed both the nursery and the charity support, its such an important and close to our hearts charity, and every penny counts!
