Our daffodil room enjoyed some crisp winter walks last week.
The children have been learning about different ways to keep safe and healthy and this winter walk was a great way to put what they had learned into practice. Health and well being is a very important part of the curriculum and it is our job as practitioners to ensure that the children are aware of dangers and how to stay safe when out in the local environment.
The road speed signs were a lovely extension to the children number recognition skills and we really got to practice using our senses to look and listen.
Whilst out and about around Livingston Village they practiced their road safety tips and kept a look out for road safety signs.
