Road Safety Week

Here at Busy Bees, we supported Road Safety Week with a variety of fun activities with our Pre-School Children.

We had a fab visit from Bernie the Patrol Officer, who spoke to the children about how he keeps the children outside of his School safe.  The children also had fun dressing up as Mini Patrol Officers too.

We also had a special visit from John and Jess, Local Community Support Officers from the town. They brought the children Police Hats to try on.  John spoke to the children about their role in keeping people safe and also about the importance of the special number '999'.

Throughout the week, the children also had fun talking about the Road Safety Alphabet and were all rewarded with a Certificate to thank them for their support.

One of our Pre-Schoolers, Oliver, brought all of his friends a reflective sticker to put onto their coat or bag, so that cars can see them when they are walking. What a kind gesture.
