Busy Bees helped to celebrate Jewish New Year which started with Rosh Hashanah on the 20th of September. On Rosh Hashanah it is traditional to eat honey usually accompanied by dipping it in apples. Our 1-2s room celebrated by making apple prints and mixing different colours together to resemble honey. Our toddler room made cards, where they drew circles to symbolise apples and printed bees using stamps. Our pre school had a very special guest, one of our mums in pre school came in especially and told a story to commemorate the special day. On the behalf of our busy bees team we wish everyone who celebrated a very special happy new year.
