Science Week

British science week

We have been extending the children's learning by engaging them within many different science activities both indoor and in the outdoor environment. These activities have enabled the children to plan and predict what may happen, and discuss what they have found with their peers and the staff.

The babies have been exploring ice this week, using tools to find what is buried inside, as well as using and exploring using their many senses.

Toddlers and Pre-School have been looking at shadows in the glorious sunshine we have had recently in the garden, drawing round each other and looking at the colours some of our sensory blocks make, as the sun projects their properties onto the large rolls of paper.

Please take a look at each rooms science folders to see what else we have been getting up to!
