Science week at Busy Bees Meridian
The staff and children have had a great week of science activities - they made their own paper mache volcano's - which erupted with the white vinegar, baking soda and washing up liquid.
The children in our 3-5's have planted seeds using various techniques to see which way they grow best. They have also used food colouring added to water and put in white flowers, the children are waiting patiently to see if the white petals on the flowers change colour?
Even our babies and toddlers took part - they had lovely coloured corn flour and water with baby oil added, so it felt so soft to touch and then melted between the children fingers and also went into a solid form when moulded.
Outside some of our children visited the space centre with their parents and have made solar powered cars - this fits in nicely with the current provocation on "transport".
Enjoy looking at the photographs taken during this action packed week.
