The babies have been exploring a variety of sensory activities to use all of their senses.

The staff used a variety of flour; cornflour and textured activities with a variety of scents and objects added to allow the children to explore them.  Sensory play is an important part of babies development. They use these activities to develop in all of the prime areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We use all of the activities to promote the babies communication and language development too.  We use one of our enhancements which is the Babble to Chatter Enhancement.  This enhancement is designed by Busy Bees Childcare Team to support staff in nurturing children's speech and language skills. This will support the children with becoming confident with all aspects of language.
