We really did bring stories to life this week with an abundance of creative flow from our wonderful staff team. Our children have welcomed new families and they have joined in on many activities, as they toured our nursery.
From creating homemade story sacks to discovering all the yummy food the hungry caterpillar had eaten the children really have had a wonderful week with the many varied activities that have been happening at nursery.
Many of our children joined in with 'favourite traditional tales' by dressing up for the day. Our preschool staff recreated three little pigs with masks made for them by the children and our toddler room discovered our very own little red riding hood. Preschool also extended mathematical learning as they created a Goldilocks themed shape sorter.
Our under two's room have explored a range of props in tuff trays, used 'Elmer' as a focus to create their own patchwork creations and had a wonderful experience in the water tray as they became 'little ducks' from the classic 'five little ducks'
We look forward to what adventures and wonders our children will experience next week!
Welcome to our 10 new families who booked a place at Longbridge this week during enrolment week, we look forward to working alongside you as we welcome you to Busy Bees at Longbridge.
