The children of Port Hamilton have been busy working hard in the creative area making a 6 ft transformer to protect the pre-school room with the help and support of the pre-school room staff after discussing feeling, friendships and how we look after ourselves and one another. The transformer has been named Optimusprime by the children and is located at the top of the stairwell. The children made this robot from all the junk materials that parents have donated then painted it the colours of their choice. The children have had lots of fun creating this transformer. They learned to share, take turns, and most importantly to engage and communicate with one another.
